DESCRIPTION
Alge’s SF3 Automatic Timer is a unique self-managed timing solution, optionally employing coins or tokens at the Start as a means of controlling access to the timing system. The SF3 is an excellent way to entice skiers or snowboarders into competing with one another. The system’s sheer simplicity, employing one-way cables that prevent mis-connections, makes it a ideal means of encouraging competition, promoting your ski area, earning revenue on your investment, or hosting special events.
The system requires only one or two pairs of standard telecom wire from start to finish. Tokens inserted at the Start activate each course, and the final time(s) can be displayed on an Alge scoreboard (available separately). A small start module employs LED lights to indicate course status.
Other features include: optional headset communications between start & finish; single, double, or dual courses available; able to calculate speed on course (requires extra set of photocells)
